Now that worlds is over, I know this closes out a difficult competitive season for you, and I truly hope you can get some time for rest and healing. I do admire how you have continued to plow through despite the injuries and also stay true to yourself with your great sense of humor, openness, and style. I did thoroughly enjoy those interviews with Mary Carillo (yes - you will always be known as a jock who wears a goose on his hand - SMILE) as well as your other fun segments on the Olympic Ice Show.

I do hope you know that for every one of those small minded detractors out there who get into name calling and criticizism, there are hundreds of fans who really appreciate your skating with your rare combination of athleticism and artistic beauty. You should feel proud that your skating does bring joy and beauty into the lives of all the fans who enjoy watching you skate.

I wish you the best of health and happiness and for a very successful 2006 - 2007 season, and look forward to seeing you on the ice when the Champions on Ice tour hits my city.
