From Neena
Dear Johnny,
This isn't a very original message, I pretty much feel the same way as the other Angels, but I wanted to add my two cents.
I haven't been an Angel for long, I was introduced to you, and your skating during the Olympics, and I fell in love with your skating. It has so much passion, heart, and art (sorry about the rhyme), I felt as if I could feel every emotion.
I know that you're probably upset about the World results, but I am not, in the end the results don't matter. All that does matter is that you were able to compete despite the hate mail, despite the media, and most of all despite the pain. I doubt that I would have been able to walk if I had back spasms. Your strength is truly an inspiration to all of us, to strive for the best, and in all honesty, like you said your UNconstructive critics can "eat it." I know that hurtful words are often worse than sticks and stones, but I urge you to ignore all the negative comments. They don't deserve your attention. You're an amazing skater, and you have so much to offer. No matter what the results were, not matter what the critics have said, you are still first in my book.
I hope that your injuries heal quickly.
Love and Regards,
Neena.
